• Information and data generated in the course of any continuing relationship with Miss Lia, for example, instructions given by you to arrange class enrolments, transfers, replacements, withdrawals, and other information and records you choose to provide by various modes of communication including mail, telephone, SMS, fax, email, internet and market research; and

• Information from cookies, other technologies deployed for the analysis of website usage or other information technology applications used by us.

Purposes for which information is collected, used and disclosed

Miss Lia collects personal information from you, your family members, your authorized representatives, publicly available sources, our website, mobile services and other channels including emails, phone conversations and face-to-face interactions.

The purposes for which Miss Lia collects, uses and discloses personal information include (“Purposes”):

1. To provide, operate and administer Miss Lia's services, or to process applications for Miss Lia's services, business or financial transactions, and to maintain service quality levels and train staff;

2. To provide service and administrative support;

3. To facilitate operational processes including but not limited to student profile evaluation, class and student management, organising and administering lesson plans and class schedules, administering the student’s application, payment administration and statistical analysis;

4. To maintain accurate client information and enable customized experiences that meet your preferences and needs;

5. To manage Miss Lia's relationship with you, which may include providing information on Miss Lia's products and services, where specifically consented to or where permissible under applicable laws and regulations;

6. Responding to request for information from public agencies, ministries, statutory boards or other similar authorities (including but not limited to the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Health);

7. For marketing and communication;

8. To facilitate service refinements and product development via customer feedback, data analysis and market research;

9. Processing the student application for financial aid as part of the enrolment process, and if successful, for administering and/or managing the financial aid program;

10. Carrying out market related or similar research analyses for Miss Lia's operational strategies;

11. To perform internal management, to operate management information systems, to carry out and enable internal and external audits;

12. To monitor and record calls and electronic communications with clients for record-keeping, quality control, training and case investigations;

13. To enforce or defend the rights of Miss Lia,

14. For safety, legal and regulatory compliance; and

15. Purposes relating directly thereto.

Miss Lia will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised disclosure. Subject to the provisions of any applicable law, Miss Lia may disclose personal information for any of the Purposes to the following third parties, whether they are located overseas or in Singapore:

1. Miss Lia's affiliates;

2. Professional advisors, third party service providers, agents or contractors engaged to support Miss Lia's services under a duty of confidentiality;

Correction of Personal Data

If you have any reason to believe that any personal data which you have provided to us is inaccurate, incorrect, incomplete or not updated, you may write to us. We will, after using reasonable efforts to verify the authenticity of the request, promptly update your records accordingly within seven (7) working days from the date of receipt of your request.

Retention of Personal Data

Your personal data will be retained by us for as long as the original purposes or the legal or business purposes for which your personal data was collected continue. If retention is no longer necessary, we will use reasonable efforts to delete, destroy or de-identify your personal data unless retention of the same is required to satisfy legal or regulatory requirements or to protect our interests or in accordance with our policies.

Use of Sites by Minors
